Crema is a speciality coffee shop on Christchurch Road in Boscombe, a short walk up from the pier and seafront. It launched in late 2022 as the second site of a distinctive local concept: a café built to sit at the front of a building that also rents out beauty treatment rooms to independent nail technicians, massage therapists and similar professionals working for themselves.
The coffee and the concept
The café, trading as Crema, inside a space called Collective, is deliberately the social heart of the building rather than an afterthought. Coffee is the main draw, backed up by sandwiches, smoothies and pastries, with kitchen specials that change regularly. The idea is simple: give beauty professionals a smart, flexible space to work from without a lease, and give everyone else in Boscombe a proper coffee shop to drop into, whether or not they're booked in for a treatment.
Where it is
Crema sits at 687 Christchurch Road, BH7 6AA, on Boscombe's main shopping stretch. It's an easy stop if you're exploring Boscombe's shops and cafés, or breaking up a walk along the seafront and pier a little further south. There's outdoor seating out front for sunnier days.
Good to know
Opening hours run Monday to Thursday 7am–4pm, Friday and Saturday 8am–4pm, and Sunday 9am–4pm, useful to know if you're planning an early coffee or a lazy weekend one. There's no dedicated car park, but on-street parking and Boscombe's public car parks are close by. As with any independent café, it's worth checking Crema's Facebook page for the current menu or any changes to hours before a special visit.
