Lee's Dynasty is a long-standing Chinese takeaway on Wimborne Road in Winton, on the northern edge of Bournemouth. Rather than a sit-down restaurant, it's a collection-and-delivery operation with an unusually broad menu that reaches beyond standard Chinese takeaway fare into Thai and Malaysian cooking too.
The menu
Dishes are organised into an extensive set of categories, starters, dim sum, soups, and separate sections for beef, chicken, duck, pork and seafood, plus curries, noodles and rice. The signature order is crispy aromatic duck, served in three sizes so it works for a solo dinner or a table of friends, alongside Lee's house special crispy noodles. The Thai and Malaysian dishes sit alongside the more familiar Cantonese-style options, giving regulars more variety than a typical local takeaway. Set meals are priced per person for groups who'd rather not pick individually.
Good to know
The menu is clearly marked for vegetarian (V), gluten-free (GF), nut-containing (N) and wheat-containing (W) dishes, and, sensibly for a takeaway with this much range, customers with allergies are asked to call ahead before ordering rather than rely on the online menu alone. A short wine list and Tiger and Tsingtao beers are available to go with your order. Ordering is online via the restaurant's own website or by phone, with both collection and delivery on offer; it's worth confirming your postcode is covered before you commit to delivery.
Lee's Dynasty is closed on Mondays and open evenings the rest of the week. For more takeaway and restaurant options nearby, browse our food & drink guide, or see our wider things to do guide for the rest of Bournemouth.
